This nail grinder is awesome! I have a cordless Dremel, and while it can grind the nails down more quickly, it's so much louder than this grinder that my dogs are bothered by the noise and do not tolerate it so well.

Install Flash Player I have a typical Shiba Inu - a born drama queen. She screams so badly even if the nail trimmer is inches away. There is no easy way to trim her. This grinder save us both. She's curious and licks it, never shows any fears or anxiety with it. It easily smoothes her sharp tips.

have never done my dogs' nails before, mostly because the quick was way too long and I was afraid to cut it. But I recently learned that the quick recedes eventually if you keep cutting the nails. So I searched for clippers and found a dremel instead. It works great. My dogs were little afraid of it but after lots of praising and lot of treats they let me do it. Still, it was a struggle; probably because we have never done it before. I am hoping with time they will get used to it. I will definitely recommend this to friends and family. I attached a before and after picture. Again, I couldn't trim it too short just yet because the quick is long. I am gonna do it once a week and see if it will get shorter with time.

Perfect!

This is a must have for dog owners who have a 100lb dog like I do. Mr. Cooper, my mastiff mix, hated the clippers. So instead of bringing him to get his nails trimmed and traumatizing him, I decided to go this route. So happy I did, with little hesitation, he lets me file his nails and vwala! No need to trim. This little gadget is very powerful with a low and high setting and surprisingly not as loud as I thought it would be. It holds a charge beautifully, ran it for an hour straight, yes, an hour because Mr. Cooper has ridiculously thick nails. I would highly recommend this product for those who are struggling with clipping those dog nails! Update 3/4/19, added photos... I found it much easier to remove the top piece to file Mr. Cooper's nails down since his nails are too big to fit in the slot.

Quiet and efficient

Super quiet and efficient! My dog who HATES getting her nails trimmed with scissors freaked out for a minute until she realized that this wasnt anywhere near as bad and then was so easy to work on. I managed to do all her nails in like 10 mins max. It usually takes 45 mins-1hr because of holding her down and squirming and inevitably chasing her around the house a couple times. Highly recommended.

Great value for a great price...

I have bought several Dremel-type nail grinders for dogs in the past and have always been disapponted. The motors were never strong enough to do the job properly. I am not disappointed in this product. The motor is strong and I LOVE the USB charging ability. The only draw back that I've encountered is the one port for large dog nails is just not large enough for my old Black Lab Roxy's nails. This is not a show stopper for me as I just rotate the grinder around the nail. My dogs absolutely hate having their nails done, but we're now going into week two and both are quite comfortable with allowing their nails to be groomed with this product. The grinder has two speeds, comes with a replaceable file and charging cord. It's not too large and fits perfectly in my hand. Highly recommend this product and think this product is a great value for the price. I would buy this again and will recommend to friends and family.

It will make the nails round and feel smoother. It can be used wirelessly and it comes with the usb charging cable and a spare grinding wheel. My dog is usually terrified by nail trimming or grinding, I have to take him to the grooming stores sometime. But this product is very quite compared to other similar brands. I let my dog to get familiar with the grinding sound before start using it, which took only a few minutes, and then he just relax and let me do the work.
