Australia is home to many unique animals, including the small but terrifying Bulldog Ant.

This angry, red ants are one of the largest and most ferocious on the planet.

They have large incisors and venomous stings, which, in humans, cause intense pain, the worst of all insect stings, which can last for several days.

Although ants generally have limited vision, Bulldog ants can see and target from a distance of one meter.

Curiously, if Bulldog Ant is cut in half, the head and tail will actually fight and try to kill each other.
